By creating an innovative way to discover new music online and offline during the 5 day Emerging Ibiza Break-Thru Festival in Ibiza, the global heart of dance and club culture, with the most popular Artists being asked to return for a Season of Residencies at the most iconic Ibiza club venues throughout the Summer.

A panel of industry Experts are at the heart of our new music revolution. Their extensive knowledge will help bring a selection of the world’s hottest new and upcoming underground talent forward, uncovering a new generation of future stars.

Emerging Ibiza is ready to shake up the way we discover, consume and share new music. In a world where everyone is shouting loud, Emerging Ibiza is sure to provide one voice that needs to be heard.

The Experts

The role of our Experts is to use their extensive experience and skills as leading Artists, DJs, Producers plus respected Electronic music industry figures to pick the hottest up and coming underground artists to feature on Emerging Ibiza. Emerging Ibiza acts as a platform that gives our Experts the opportunity to promote their favourite new talent. You’ll get to see the world’s hottest new Artists, along with some of the scene’s most established names all in one place.

Steve Lawler

Steve Lawler needs no introduction, but he certainly warrants one. You would be hard pushed to find a more in-form, in-demand, exceptionally talented artist, regarded as highly by his industry peers as he is by his huge global base of musically educated fans.

Steve Lawler, a child of the acid house generation, has been busy with the beats long before genres were but a twinkle in clubland’s eye. An electronic artist who defies generic boundaries, ever since his days organising the infamous motor way raves back in the early 90’s underneath the M42 motor way, in the UK.

As an Artist: his releases & Remixes have been signed by some of the worlds most established Recording labels. R&S Records, Systematic, Drumcode, Harthouse, Cocoon, MBF, OVUM, Sci+Tec, Tsuba, Souvenir, Rekids, Boxer Sport, Be As One, Monique, Kostbar, Soma, Skint and of course his own recording label VIVa MUSiC.

Dynamic, driven and drastically obsessed with performing as well as he possibly can Steveʼs passion for House, Techno and Electronica is too strong for one simple generic association, and right now his message is louder than ever. 18 years deep and Steve Lawler isnʼt just at the top of his game, heʼs pushing the boundaries of what a DJ can do, both technically and creatively, as an artist and as a successful label businessman.

We couldn’t think of any other artists we’d rather be a part of our team. Steve’s raw talent and love for the scene is reflected in his achievements as much as it is in his incredible sets. His expertise and vast knowledge of the industry is sure to drive Emerging Ibiza to exciting new levels.

Having been at the forefront of dance music fan’s attentions across the globe since the latter stages of the last century, Yousef is an artist that continues to evolve and develop with consummate ease. New sounds, new developments and new frontiers; they all remain an instrumental part of his thrust forward as one the planet’s leading underground House music tastemakers.

As a producer he continues to smash preconceptions about not only his style but the wider spectrum of House and Techno as well. Recently he’s gifted his beats to an ever expanding cluster of the most revered and respected imprints in the business, be them Carl Cox’s Intec, Nick Curly’s Cecille, Nic Fanciuilli’s Saved, the effervescent Monique Musique and of course Sven Vath’s timeless label Cocoon which released ‘Come Home’, Yousef’s stunning piece de resistance.

He’s recently finished his second full artist album, adding a series of more musically focused tracks to his resume alongside the serious (self penned) emotive vocal moments and of course many dance floor workout. Coming soon is a developing live concept that redefines how electronic music is experienced.

Last year saw Yousef release music on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Defected, remixing Carl Cox and gravitating his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing the years biggest underground track, Green VelvetsBigger Than Prince’.

We’re sure 2014 is set to be another hugely successful year for Yousef and we count ourselves lucky to have him onboard with Emerging Ibiza.

Danny Whittle IMS

Danny Whittle served for over twelve years as the “brand director” of Pacha, promoting, booking and “programming” shows and events for famed Pacha Ibiza and working with Pacha nightclubs around the world. Whittle was instrumental in creating the Pacha Recordings record label and magazine. He, along with other Emerging Ibiza members Pete Tong and Ben Turner, is a founding partner of IMS, the annual International Music Summit business conference and will continue to be actively involved in IMS going forward.

Under Whittle, Pacha experienced exponential growth and became one of the leading lights of the worldwide electronic music movement and incubator for the careers of some of the biggest stars of the international EDM galaxy.

Judging by his previous achievements and astounding contributions to the ongrowing success of Pacha, we’re confident Danny can do the same here and help propel Emerging Ibiza to new heights.

Ben Turner IMS

Ben Turner is one of the International Music Summit partners who along with Pete Tong, Danny Whittle, Mark Nettoand and Simeon Friend, is about to run the seminar for its 6th year in Ibiza. Originally from Oxford and heavily involved in magazine publishing of now defunct titles such as ‘Muzik’ magazine in the UK he has strong connections with Ibiza through both IMS and being at the editorial helm of ‘Pacha Magazine.”

A director of his own multimedia/music management company “Graphite” which has created a number of synch deals for music artists such as Richie Hawtin and Robortom feat Au Revoir Simone his background is also heavily seeped in TV production and direction. Infamously, he was the director behind Sasha and Digweed‘s crossover documentary of touring America “Delta Heavy”. But that’s not where it all stops. Turner is also a director of Rob Da Bank‘sBestival” and “Camp Bestival” festivals, Callum Fegus’s emerging youth marketing brand “Let’s Go Crazy” and vice chair of the Association of Independent Festivals.

All in all he appears to be a bit of a powerhouse, and we’re sure Ben will be a key driving force in the establishment of Emerging Ibiza.

Chris Bones

One of the most underestimated Dj’s in the music scene could easily describe Bones. He originated from Canada and moved to London in the late 90’s to follow his love for dance music. Formally part of the dj duo Bones and Ramsey, who quickly became an east London’s overnight success and credited as the first dj/promoters of the electro music movement with their party MACHINE and Ditched Disco.
Bones having traveled around the globe playing clubs went and started a new night called ‘BLACK RABBIT’, an evening that was continuously hailed as ‘Critics Choice’. Wearing two hats as promoter and dj has always been Bones’ style of how to present new and upcoming acts, whilst on the decks entertaining his crowd.

Bones’ unique style of mixing and choice of dance floor movers has seen him rock the crowd of many clubs including over the years including The End, Fabric, Matter and festivals such as Glastonbury. After many seasons of playing in Ibiza and playing at legendary Ibiza clubs Amnesia, Privilege, Space, Underground and Pacha, Bones now deems Ibiza his home. There are not many dj’s that Bones has not shared the stage with world wide, such as Chemical Brothers, Jamie Jones, Solomun, Soulwax, Andrew Weatherall, Damian Lazurus, Eats Everything and the Vision Quest boys.
After Bones hosted his own room in Space for ‘We Love’ Space’s flagship night and never being one to stay still for too long, took charge of CARNIVAL at the cutting edge club, Sankeys Ibiza and has turned it into the machine it now is.
As well as playing some of the world’s largest clubs, Bones is also one of the hottest dj’s to play celebrity private parties, with such names as Kate Moss, Jade Jagger and Marc Jacobs being just a few who have engaged his talent to entertain their guests.
